I know this is supposed to be about weddings, but you’ll have to forgive me while I take a moment to ask for your help.
I’ve been offered an opportunity to travel to Kenya later this year and volunteer for a month in HIV/AIDS clinics as well as document my experiences there for a gallery showing and a photobook. I’m beyond thrilled about this chance! I am passionate about Africa and making a difference there and while this may be only a small one, it will be in fact, making a difference.
Because this is such a huge undertaking, I have started a Kickstarter campaign to help with costs and fees. In return to those who can contribute, there are some fun goodies such as original post cards and even the photobook I will be creating from my time there!
It’s vital that I meet the goal by the deadline of February 13th (2:30 EST) because if I fall even $10 short, I will not receive any of the money pledged. I have 28 days to go to raise $3,400…I know it seems like a lot, but if everyone can donate $5, $10 or even $20…I can go to Kenya and work in these great clinics!
